Missions & Outreach Pastor
Rev. Allen Elder has served several South Carolina churches in different capacities since 1986. His experience in the church has taken him through various ministries including Sunday School teacher, deacon, youth minister, associate pastor, and pastor. Allen’s heart for the ministry is for people, loving them and being their friend, and teaching them to be reproducing disciple-makers.
Home and family are very important to Pastor Allen. Married since 1985, he and his wife, Connie (Dobson), have three sons; Trey, Blake, and Scott. Connie is employed with District Five Schools and is very active in the ministry of Wellford Baptist Church.
Pastor Allen enjoys music, classic movies, reading, writing, and wood-working. He serves bi-vocationally, being employed with Regional Utility Services, Inc. of Spartanburg, S.C. Allen is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
