Hope is simply the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.

It is a confident desire or wish to see something fulfilled. It doesn’t matter if you’re young, old, or in-between, you can have hope. Hope can be as simple as that desire you have for a certain Christmas present or as profound as your wish to eliminate world hunger. Hope carries us through life. Hope helps us persevere. What is the source of true hope? How can we discover hope and live it out in our daily life? What kind of hope does God offer His people? These are some of the questions we address in our current teaching series on The Hope based on some powerful passages from God’s Word in Ephesians, Romans and others. Join us Sundays at 10:30 AM for this exciting and relevant series on The Hope.

Our current Sunday morning teaching series is the Danger of Disappointment… There are many ways disappointment can affect us. We can be disappointed in something we thought God should have done or didn’t do. We can feel like God is unfair. This can lead to disbelief or discouragement in our relationship with Him. We can also become disappointed in ourselves for something we’ve done or should have done. So God wants to free us from the dangers of disappointment in this series answering questions such as “Is God Fair?” Join us Sundays at 10:30am for relevant Bible teaching and application at WBC.
